Our libraries are ready to support the implementation of the UN 2030 Agenda. There is a lot to be done and said for each of the 17 SDGs. Libraries, as providers of access to information, contribute to both an improvement in people's lives and to an informed decision-making process of governments, communities and other institutions in charge of alleviating poverty and raising living standards around the world. This paper shows the relevance of the 2030 Agenda and its relation with university libraries. It also explains the 17 Sustainable Development Goals by directly linking them with library work and provides practical examples from the day-today of libraries, taking into account various resources, collections and institutional alliances.
