B Author Information b An event is serious (based on the ICH definition) when the patient outcome is: * death * life-threatening * hospitalisation * disability * congenital anomaly * other medically important event A 47-year-old man developed acute kidney injury (AKI) from oxalate nephropathy during supplementation with ascorbic-acid. For AKI and oxalate nephropathy, his vitamin C supplementation, high oxalate foods (spinach, kale, berries, kernels) and hypercalcaemia possibly from lymphoma were considered as contributing factors. Acute oxalate nephropathy from vegetable juicing and lower dose vitamin c supplementation. [Extracted from the article]
