Abstract

The article presents a research on recapitulation of HIV-1 Env-antibody coevolution in macaques leading to neutralization breadth. Topics include development of an effective neutralizing antibody–based HIV-1 vaccine will require consistent activation of multiple germline precursor B cells; and enabling the molecular, biological, and immunological mechanisms responsible for responses to be studied in a reproducible and iterative fashion.
