Abstract

The paper proposes a method for identifying the elastic characteristics of the track in order to mitigate the actions produced by the transit of vehicles. The study is based on the use of consolidated analysis theories and outlines the methods of rapid identification of the structural characteristics, the kinematic and dynamic behaviour of permanent way equipment in the 30Hz÷80 Hz frequency range. Therefore the document proposes an application case of the methodology for determining the actions of mitigation of the vibrations induced by rail transit, the results of which have been supported by experimental measures.
