Abstract

The authors discuss their conversations with several young residents of Kabul, Afghanistan about their practice of carrying a pocket note that contains their personal information in an effort to prevent nameless deaths from a random and routine carnage. Among the young people who were interviewed for the article include computer science student Masouma Tajik, employee Arifa Armaghan, and consultant Rafi Bakhtiar.
