Abstract
- We classify the closed foliated 3-manifolds M, with codimeiision one foliations of nonexponential growth and which are homotopy equivalent to their classifying space BV. Then we construct arbitrarily "large" manifolds with fohations with of any growth type and satisfying π(M) = π1(BV). [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
