Abstract
- The article presents editorial of the September 2004 issue of the periodical "Criminal Behaviour and Mental Health." The articles in this special issue are revised versions of papers that were given at a meeting of the European Association of Psychology and Law in Limassol, Cyprus. The articles are drawn from three European countries and are quite diverse. Sociologist David Farrington reviews key issues that criminological psychologists should address, especially in relation to why people become offenders, why people commit offences, and the link between explanation and the prevention and reduction of offending.
