Abstract

The article discusses the cytoskeleton has a dynamic network of proteins, including actin, microtubules, and associated motor proteins, that enables essential cellular processes such as motility, division, and growth. Topics include a critical parameter that influences the large-scale activity of actomyosin networks has the connectivity of the network; and create an active composite network of co-entangled actin filaments and microtubules.
