Abstract

The article presents the topics of the COVID-19-related research papers that were published in the journal "The Gerontologist" in 2021. These include older adults' experiences with COVID-19, the impact of the pandemic on elderly inmates, and the case of compassionate ageism. Also provided are the Gerontological Society of America's recommendations for research on COVID-19 topics including vaccine development and healthcare practices such as telehealth.
