Abstract
- The article discusses the 2021 "School Library Journal" (SLJ) School Library Budget and Spending Survey. Topics include percentage of librarians who reported a decrease in their library budget from 2019 to 2020, decline in funds faced by schools for their libraries in 2021, and majority of librarians' spending on books. Also mentioned are the top priority/initiative for the library over the next two school years and 2020-2021 library media center (LMC) budget and amount budgeted per student.
