Abstract
- In order to improve the efficiency of the modified QHSS (MQHSS) iteration method by Chen and the co-authors (Appl. Numer. Math. 2020; doi.org/10.1016/j.apnum.2020.01.018), we employ the iterative methods in the inner iteration process to accelerate the convergence speed and then obtain the inexact MQHSS (IMQHSS) iteration method. The asymptotically convergence conditions of the IMQHSS iteration method are analyzed in detail. Numerical experiments are performed to test the efficiency and robustness of the IMQHSS iteration method and the corresponding preconditioned Krylov subspace method. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
