Abstract
- The article focuses on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Third circuit in the case In re PennEast Pipeline Co. which swung the balance of power over control of natural gas pipeline construction back in the direction of the states. It mentions decision has injected significant legal heft to conservation easements and handed new leverage to any state interested in opposing a natural gas pipeline. It also mentions natural gas pipeline could make to their conservation easement laws.
