Abstract

He received empirical antibiotic treatment with piperacillin/tazobactam [piperacillin sodium/tazobactam sodium]. Thereafter, his antibiotic treatment was changed to IV polymixin-B infusion at a loading dose of 150mg followed by a maintenance dose of 75mg every 12h along with tigecycline.
