Abstract
- Refrigerants with a high global warming effect are limited in their use on an international scale, taking into consideration environmental criteria. Like the F-gas regulation implemented by the European Union, a regulation has been drafted in our country that restricts the use of F-Gas. In this context, R32 refrigerant is at the forefront with its relatively low global warming potential. R32 has a lower global warming potential compared to R 410A refrigerant. In a ddition, it is considered that it can be used safely in m any applications since it has high energy efficiency and low flammability. It is considered that it can be an attractive alternative to heat pumps since it is a single component refrigerant when it is evaluated in terms of recycling. Therefore, the use of R32 in heat pump applications is gradually increasing. In this study, the analysis of the first and second laws of thermodynamics of a R32 refrigerated air-water-air source heat pump was performed using the EES program and the results obtained are presented in graphs and tables. Graphs show that the COPIP value increases with the evaporation temperature rising from -10°C to +5°C and falling to 45°C to 35°C at the condensation temperature. With increasing evaporation temperature and decreasing condensation temperature, irreversibility has decreased in compressor, condenser, evaporator and expansion valve. The efficiency of the second law is seen to increase under these conditions. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
