Abstract

The recent serious challenges in patient management resulting from the COVID-19 pandemic have emphasised the need to optimise therapy for immunosuppressed patients. HCL- SB V, sb a provisional entity in the latest WHO classification, accounts for 10-20% of HCL patients and 0-5% of B-cell chronic lymphoid malignancies, and corresponds to approximately 60-75 new HCL- SB V sb patients each year in the United States. In newly diagnosed patients, PNAs remain the treatment of choice, but relapses occur in some patients. [Extracted from the article]
