Abstract
- [Objective] Regional vegetation index is an important index to evaluate its ecosystem. Karst areas are vulnerable to climate change and human activities, vulnerable to damage and difficult to restore. The present paper aimed to explore the relationship between climate factors and vegetation change, and used the residual analysis to separate the impact of human activities on vegetation and quantitatively evaluate its contribution. [Method] Based on the normalized difference vegetation index data, meteorological data and land use data from 2001 to 2014, the trend analysis method and partial correlation analysis were used. [Result] The results showed that the NDVI in Chongqing karst areas showed a trend of fluctuation and increase in recent 14 years, with an annual growth rate of 0.0048/year. 78.9 % of the regional vegetation in the study area increased 17.14 %. Only less than 4 % of the regional vegetation was degraded; The impact of climate change on vegetation was much higher than that of human activities, and the correlation of temperature was higher than that of precipitation, mainly showing a positive correlation; The contribution rate of climate change was 94.6 %, and the contribution rate of human activities was 5.4 %. The average residual between the actual NDVI value and the simulated NDVI value in the study area was 0.0397. [Conclusion]The impact of human activities on vegetation was positive, and the ecological restoration project in Chongqing for karst areas has achieved initial results. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
