The accessibility in libraries to all groups of users is a topic that should be emphasized not only to libraries in Slovakia but also to the general public. Th e rights of people with disabilities are enshrined in several important documents, including the National Program for the Development of Living Conditions of Persons with Disabilities (2001), the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (2010), and, last but not least, in the Act No. 126/2015 Coll. on Libraries. The Slovak National Library has decided to take the necessary steps to ensure that all groups of users get full access to library and information services without any restriction. The first phase was a partial reconstruction and a change of the layout of the SNL Services Department premises, which took place in 2020. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
