Abstract
- Some new analytical results in 3DBL theory are reviewed and discussed. Considered problems include: the perturbation theory for three-dimensional flows, singularities in solutions of 3DBL equations and corresponding real flow structures, new models for the symmetric flow instability over thin bodies and studies of the control possibility, analyses of distinctive features of hypersonic flows on flat blunted bodies and corresponding physical phenomena. Applications of the theory to study viscous flow characteristics of real objects (aircraft wings, fuselages and others) are considered. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
