Abstract
- Objective To analyze the correlation between the frequency of use of antibacterial drugs (DDDs) and the drug resistance rate of Escherichia coli, and provide a reference for the rational use of antibacterial drugs in clinical practice. Methods A retrospective survey method was used to calculate the quarterly resistance rates of Escherichia coli to 12 antibacterial drugs and the corresponding antibacterial DDDs from January 2016 to December 2018 in the hospital, and the SPSS statistical software was used for correlation analysis. Results The resistance rate of Escherichia coli to cefazolin, cefoxitin and ceftriaxone was positively correlated with cefoxitin DDDs (r=0.658-0.803, P <0.05); the resistance rate of cefoxitin was correlated with cefoperazone The DDDs of ketone/sulbactam sodium were positively correlated (r = 0.599, P <0.05); the resistance rate of cefuroxime was positively correlated with the DDDs of cefazolin (r = 0.672, P <0.05). Conclusion There is a correlation between the DDDs of certain antibacterial drugs and the resistance level of Escherichia coli. The monitoring of bacterial resistance and the rational management of the clinical application of antibacterial drugs should be strengthened. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
