Abstract: This article presents news items related to defense electronics, as of November 1, 2004. On September 30, 2004, a contract for the supply of 20 Dingo 2 armored personnel carriers was signed in Vienna between Austria's Ministry of Defense and Munich, Germany-based company Krauss-Maffei Wegman. In another development, the new frigate Hamburg, which is destined for the German Navy, was handed over to the German Federal Office of Defence Technology and Procurement on September 24, 2004 by Howaldtswerke-Deutsche Werft AG.
