The preoccupation in the knowledge society of most scholars, scientists and intellectuals is thinking and learning thinking skills, a cornerstone of cognitive and higher order thinking processes. Therefore, the importance of the current paper came in moving beyond learning the low order thinking skills to the stage of higher order thinking skills, by focusing attention on the most important higher thinking skills in the knowledge age, and how they can be achieved in the societal context. This is in addition to the assertion that the thinking process does not end without the death of a person, and that thinking is a divine gift from the Creator that a person must invest in a good, not in evil, through being guided by the moral forces inherent in the human being.
