Abstract

The article examines the legitimacy, legality, legacy and meaning of U.S. democracy in light of the voter fraud claims of former President Donald Trump during the 2020 presidential election. Topics discussed include the declaration of Christopher Krebs as head of the Department of Homeland Security Cyber and Infrastructure Security Agency that the election was fraud-free, reason why majoritarianism is only a part of democracy, and evidence of the strength of democracy during the election.
