Abstract

The article presents information on diffusion measurements. Nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) spectroscopy brings many advantages to the challenges faced by analytical chemists, such as mixture analysis. Many chromatographic techniques are routinely used to elicit information about mixture components. However, separation methods are both time-consuming and destructive to the sample. NMR spectroscopy isa non-destructive and quantitative analytical method that does not require pure standards for calibration. In addition, virtually all organic molecules have NMR-active nuclei thereby eliminating the need for sample derivatization.
