Abstract: The author reflects on the criteria and complexities in the assessment and interpretation of review articles to effectively provide clarity and valuable insights into a topic. Topics include the possible requirements by institutions of Institutional Review Board (IRB) approval of review articles, and the types of reviews like systematic reviews, mixed methods reviews, and literature and narrative reviews.
