In this paper has been considered the main conceptual- methodological bases in order to improve cost management and to provide adequate information to the management system and decision-makers of the company. In this regard, cost management identifies, collects, measures, classifies, and reports information that is very useful to managers, accountants, and other internal users in cost determination, planning, controlling, and decision-making.
