An editorial is presented on the recovery plan for children, adolescents and their families. The article discusses that the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic, including the toll exerted on their mental health had been overlooked during the early months of the pandemic; and the protection of these children's rights and their welfare have finally come sharply into focus.
