Alkynones represent one class of interesting building block which are frequently founded in a variety of biologically active compounds.[1] They have been emerged as key intermediates in the synthesis of various natural products and heterocycles.[2] Therefore, a considerable interest has been attracted and numerous strategies have been explored for the synthesis of alkynones.
