Abstract

The article reports on the development of Aportable circular saw. The default tool and one that every manufacturer makes is the 7¼-in. model. This number designates the diameter of the blade that the tool holds. This model is the most popular because it can cut through 1½-inch thick lumber in a single pass — at 90° and when the foot is tilted, at 45°. Unlike the other basic power tool that everyone should have, the portable electric drill, there aren't many accessories available for a circular saw.
