Abstract
- The author discusses the Lake Powell and the effect of drought on the lake, which results to the resurfacing of archaeological sites in Glen Canyon. The author relates her experience of visiting Lake Powell. She offers a brief history of the lake and discusses a decline in the surface of the lake since 2000 due to drought, a study by climate scientist Park Williams on the cause of the droughts in the area, and initiative to address the problem on two reservoirs in the area.
