Abstract
- In order to increase the energy transmission density between the coupled coils in the wireless power transmission (WPT) system, this paper propose the push–pull magnetic field excitation. A push–pull (PP) system that can enhance the energy transmission density is proposed by using the superimposed field effect of two transmitting coils from two different directions on the receiving coil in this paper. Firstly, the power and efficiency formulas of the system transmission are theoretically deduced. Then, the PP system is designed and constructed. The analysis shows that the transmission power will change with various superposition effects of electromagnetic waves. After, we use MAXWELL simulation software to simulate the magnetic field intensity distribution of the PP system, and set up a 100 W PP system experimental platform. Comparing the same direction and reverse direction of the PP system with the system performance parameters of the traditional WPT system, the effects of different resonant circumstances of two transmitters on the energy transmission density of the system are discussed. Experimental results show that the power capacity of the PP–WPT system is 55.5% higher than that of the conventional WPT system. It provides new ideas for the research and application of subsequent WPT. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
