Starting in 1999, a process of programmed and intentional transformation of the prevailing industrial relations system in Venezuela began since 1958, whose ideological orientation, with reference to a selective Marxism, aimed as its ultimate goal the maximization of political and social control, through a set of measures and policies specifically designed for this. This paper seeks to analyze, in a general way, how through labor policies and the consequent intentional transformation of the industrial relations system, programmed and gradual changes of the social order were produced, expressed particularly in economic, labor market and migration indicators during the period 1999-2019.
