Developing comics on hydrocarbon material to improve students' literacy.

This research has been conducted to: develop comics on hydrocarbon material and find out the feasibility of comics. This research is development research using the Borg and Gall model which is carried out until the fifth stage. The product development process is carried out by designing product designs that are then validated and assessed by material experts and media experts. Then it was tested on teachers and students in highschool. The assessment instruments used in the form of interviews needs analysis questionnaires and product assessment sheets. The learning media that have been developed are assessed by high school teachers and high school students as for the schools where there are five schools in Yogyakarta.
