Abstract
- The article reports on the move by million of refugees from countries like Syria, Iraq and Afghanistan and their children to pay respect to Germany's outgoing Chancellor Angela Merkel as of September 2021 for accepting them in Germany. Also cited are the move by the refugees to name their female children Angela to honor Merkel, and the changing immigration policy in Europe due to Merkel's declining influence in the region.
