Research of the influence of the dissipation parameter of the elastic element of the side bearings of the bogies the parameters of the motion of the freight car.

The article is devoted to the method of choosing the dissipative parameters of the elastic element of the side support of the freight car body. Based on application of methods of simulation of the movement of rail vehicles, mathematical statistics and methods of statistical processing of experimental data and the use of methods of frequency analysis of time dependences the authors of the study have developed an original method for choosing this parameter. The method described in the article allows to select the parameters of the dissipation of the elastic element of the side support of the freight car body within the stage of designing which allows cutting the economic expenses within the stage of freight car designing and increasing traffic safety.
