Abstract
- The article discusses a study on the outbreak of SARS-CoV-2 B.1.617.2 (Delta) variant infections among incarcerated persons in a federal prison in Texas during July-August 2021. The study found that the attack rate was higher among unvaccinated individuals compared to fully vaccinated individuals, highlighting the importance of vaccination and implementation of prevention strategies in congregate living environments like correctional facilities to limit COVID-19 transmission.
