Abstract

However, the clinical phenotypes in AD with high serum RANKL or RANKL/OPG ratio might represent the characteristics of severe AD, since those AD subgroups showed high severity. The differences of serum RANKL levels (A, C) and RANKL/OPG ratio (B, D) were analyzed between the adults' subgroups: healthy controls, AD (EASI < 16), and AD (EASI >= 16). Serum receptor activator of nuclear factor kappa- ligand/osteoprotegerin ratio correlates with severity and suggests fracture's risk in older women with atopic dermatitis.
