Abstract

The Teaching Project Political Vocabulary of Antiquity: Reflections for the Exercise of Citizenship appeared in 2016 at UFPB. Its main objective is the creation of teaching materials that stimulate the teaching of Ancient History from an interdisciplinary perspective and from the textual sources that address the forms of government. With this, our expectation is that the student will have direct contact with the source and, thus, reflect on themes that are essential for the current political life, as participation of the people in democracy. In this paper, we will present some results of our experiences carried out in the years 2019 and 2020, seeking to demonstrate the importance of teaching Ancient History for young Brazilians.
