Abstract
- In this work, we disclosed that diphenyl oxalate serves as a CO surrogate to enable a Ni-catalyzed carbonylation of alkyl bromides/tosylates to afford dialkyl ketones. The reaction shows broad substrate scope and good functional group tolerance. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
