Intervenir sur la culture de sécurité par la reconception de l'objet du travail: le cas de la fiscalisation d'une sonde de forage offshore.

This work is done as part of an ergonomics' PhD and aims at improving the safety culture of an offshore oil drilling station, by focusing the ergonomical analysis on the object of the work of fiscalization of the operations. The safety culture approach and the notion of object of work have a common dialectic nature between mental content and collective practice. The necessary compromises between the different dimensions of the performance are also a common point. The ergonomical intervention we propose aims at valorizing the work's point of view also concerning his product. This way, our approach gives to the ergonomist more grip on the sense and the performance of the work, beyond the direct demand of the company. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
