Laudato si’: una visione della persona e dell’economia per lo sviluppo sostenibile.

This paper suggests the importance of reading Pope Francis’s Laudato si’: on the care of the common home as an overall and organic, a polyphonic and wisdom text; an invitation to see the true consequences of an ecological conversion in every life context as well as in every intellectual research. The criticism to the current development model is expressed among other things with a necessary reference to shared collective goals which must be considered before researching the means to obtain them and before considering the highly distorting effects of an economic activity following the profit maximization principle as the only parameter for the choice and evaluation of an economic action.
