Abstract

The article discusses the climate change mitigation and carbon emissions reduction strategies of various countries, based on a study conducted by Climate Action Tracker. Topics explored include the contribution of Chinese industrialisation and reliance on coal power to global carbon emissions, the transition of the U.S. from coal to gas power under the administration of U.S. President Joe Biden, and the criticisms earned by the net-zero strategy published by the British government.
