Abstract

The article reports on the visual investigation conducted by the journal on the fatal traffic stop footages showing that U.S. police officers could have avoided killing their victims if they did not made tactical errors from the start. Based on the study, at least 45 of the killings were linked to police-created jeopardy. Also cited is the comment of former police officer and criminology professor Seth Stoughton on the bad practices of the police.
