Abstract
- The article discusses a study which considered methotrexate (MTX) as the anchor drug for treatment of rheumatoid arthritis (RA). Topics include one mechanism by which MTX suppresses inflammation in RA, baseline characteristics of the study participants, and effect of one month of ticagrelor therapy added to weekly MTX on RA disease severity.
