El videoclip materialista en la era digital: de las aproximaciones matéricas a la estética del error.

The current article is an exploratory study of the materialist approaches of the music video developed during the decade of 2010, as heir to representative practices of materialist film, direct/material film and video art. Specifically, this research delves into the fundamental techniques through which music video addresses and highlights the material nature of celluloid, electronic and digital images. Thus, through direct work on the film strip, the alteration of the analogical video signal or the manipulation of the digital visual information, among other resources, manifestations such as glitch art acquire special relevance. This intensifies the tensions between the experimental value and the condition of uncritical artifice that often accompany these works; a debate also considered in the present study.
