VIAGGIO INTORNO AL GLOBO DI VINCENZO ROSA: L'ART BONUS 2020 DELLA BIBLIOTECA UNIVERSITARIA DI PAVIA.

The article is about the renovation, thanks to the Art Bonus, of the eighteenth century Globe by Vincenzo Rosa, dated 1793, which has always been situated in Salone Teresiano of the Biblioteca Universitaria of Pavia. The restoration gave us a chance to study the figure behind the author, Vincenzo Rosa, and the history and creation of the artifact, which, according to diagnostic studies, has some particularity like the direct drawing on plaster without any printed or handwritten paper placed upon, which makes it a really unique piece of art. The renovation was wanted by only a patron, Annalisa Alberici, as a memory of her parents and her husband, who were all passionate travellers, and has seen the commitment of many professionals involved in studying the artifact to restore his antique prestige and readability.
