An introduction is presented of articles published in the journal including a paper on the potential of the Australian Indigenous language database AUSTLANG to enhance Australian Indigenous language identification, prestige in scholarly book publishing and its impact in publications in the humanities and social sciences, and Australian universities efforts to provide remote access for poor college students in rural and remote communities.
