Abstract

One section of the chapter describes a discussion between Lorain, an eighth grader, and Odetta, a sixth-grader, who expresses her critique of writing discussing "healthy Black womanhood." The collection begins with an introduction written by Enoch, Jack, and Cheryl Glenn and proceeds with fourteen body chapters. Both Brigitte Mral's and Berit von der Lippe's essays proceed with rhetorical silence in chapters four and five. [Extracted from the article]
