El problema del método en el pensamiento filosófico cultural de Raúl Roa García.

This paper aims an approach to the criteria of Raúl Roa García around the question of method in social sciences, as well as the categories with which he built his apprehension of culture. The study was carried out from a hermeneutic and heuristic analysis of his main works written between 1940 and 1958 was carried out, a period where the bulk of his theoretical production was concentrated. This made it possible to determine that his conception of the culture is based on various theoretical and methodological bases, so on that it built its way of apprehending the complexity of culture and its mediations. In the debate about the appropriate method for the social sciences, Roa opts for a unitary conception that overcomes the traditional and exclusive division between natural and spiritual sciences.
