The article presents a case study of the 2015 Paris Agreement on climate change, along with mentions the efforts for achieving consensus in multilateral international negotiations. It discusses the aim of agreement as to coordinate the international efforts to keep the effects of global warming to below two degree Celsius relative to the preindustrial level and to pursue efforts to limit them.
