Abstract
- Membrane–cytoskeleton interactions (MCIs) are mediated by actin-binding proteins (ABPs). Ezrin is a crucial ABP that links membranes to actin filaments during lamellipodia formation, cell polarization, and migration. We discuss the concept of MCI and the potential of ezrin as a druggable target for treating inflammatory diseases and cancers. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
